Your design budget (excluding design fees) is determined by the scope of work and the level of finishes for material, fixtures and furnishings. Higher-quality items often come with a higher price tag. We develop our concepts based around your level of quality and price up your wish list according to the agreed scope of work. We then work closely with our clients to refine the budget and highlight investment areas. We charge a flat rate for our design services so you’ll know the design fee upfront.
We are fortunate to have relationships with trusted vendors who offer designers trade pricing, so it is our policy to share a percentage of the trade discount with our clients.
We love to incorporate your artwork and treasured antiques into your design. Reframing can breathe new life into tired artwork. We also look for opportunities to revive any aging pieces that have good bones and a solid structure. We have developed trusted relationships with local craftsmen that we entrust to ensure your treasures are in good hands.
Every project is unique and we’ll work with our builder to provide an estimated timeline for construction once the design phase is signed off. The design phase takes anywhere from 4-6 weeks, depending on the scope. From there, a typical furnishing project, including ordering, furniture production and shipping can take anywhere from 10-24 weeks or more.
Partnering with professional tradespeople is a crucial part of our process. We'll work with our team of trades to prepare estimates for the work we recommend and oversee their progress throughout your project. If you are already working with a licensed contractor, your proposal will detail how we'll communicate and collaborate with their team to ensure a seamless process.
